Tomorrow night's grand finale of the 2021 NLCB Panograma Competition promises to be a real humdinger of a show. Not only are there ten international crackshot pannists in the fray but some outstanding guest artistes as well.
Billed as "The World Cup of Pan," the final includes defending champion Earl Brooks Jr, representing T&T, and France's Mathieu Borgne who has topped both the preliminary and semi-final rounds of competition. The guest artistes will be acclaimed Tobago saxophonist Ricardo Seales and Australian songstress Lady Red.
NLCB Panograma 2021 has been judged by an international panel of renowned musicians, including David "ZigE" Walcott (Barbados); Victor Provost (US VI); Andy Chichester (Grenada); and, Professor Liam Teague and Ojay Richards (T&T).

Every one of the finalists will receive a prize with the winner walking away with US$1,000, an all-expense paid trip to Canada for the Sons of Steel Concert, a virtual session with pan icon Victoria Provost, an appearance fee partly sponsored by Pan Trinbago Inc and an Augustus Peters Steelpans Low C Tenor Pan package. The final is being streamed live on YouTube and Facebook and viewers are invited to vote for People's Choice and Best Dressed contestants.
PanoGrama Entertainment, headed by competition founder Nevin Roach, will make donations to Pan Trinbago's Social Prosperity Fund and the St Vincent and The Grenadines Volcano relief effort.
