Tamtam’s Double Triumph: “Follow Me” Wins Soca Titans and Tobago Road March

Tamtam has capped a standout Tobago Carnival campaign with two major titles, winning both Soca Titans and the 2026 Tobago Road March with “Follow Me”.

His double success marks a significant step forward after placing third in last year’s Soca Titans competition with “Lean”. This time, he returned with a song that connected on the competition stage and on the road.

At Market Square, Scarborough, on 28th October, Tamtam edged his cousin Verrse by one point to claim the Soca Titans crown and $75,000 first prize. Kedane O’Connor finished third.

The Road March results completed the double. “Follow Me” recorded 56 plays, ahead of Foster General’s “Cocrico” with 47 and Verrse’s “His 3” with 11.

For Tamtam, the victories bring more than trophies. His Soca Titans win also secures automatic qualification for the 2027 International Soca Monarch semifinals, opening the door to a wider stage.

From third place a year ago to two titles this season, Tamtam now has momentum to build on. “Follow Me” has delivered at home. Next comes the opportunity to take that success beyond Tobago.
