Some tracks are built for the season; others define it. Yung Bredda’s The Greatest Bend Over did both. Released late 2024 on the now-legendary Big Links riddim, the track lit up fetes across Trinidad and Tobago, dominated Apple Music’s T&T chart for more than two weeks, and quickly found its way into the diaspora’s Carnival playlists.

But August 15 marks the next chapter, and it’s nothing short of international. Joining Yung Bredda on the remix are two women whose artistry transcends borders: Chlöe, the Grammy-nominated R&B phenom with a knack for sultry hooks and powerhouse performances, and Moliy, Ghana’s genre-blending Afrobeats siren known for her intoxicating vocal textures.

The remix doesn’t just tack on star power. It’s a cultural collision the frenetic pulse of soca, the honeyed smoothness of R&B, and the hypnotic swing of Afrobeats all meeting in a single, irresistible groove. It’s also perfectly timed, arriving in the thick of summer festival season and mere days before Notting Hill Carnival.

Full credit to the production due Full Blown, it’s proof that soca’s reach is stretching further than ever. For listeners, it’s an invitation to dance — from Port of Spain’s Queen’s Park Savannah to Brixton, Brooklyn, and beyond one thing’s certain: The Greatest Bend Over is about to get even greater.
